Independent Financial Advisor

I began my investment industry career in 2013 and joined Stifel Independent Advisors in 2023.  My career as a financial advisor began straight out of college at J.P. Morgan before joining Capital One.  After closing its doors in 2018, I was recruited by Merrill Lynch as a Financial Wealth Manager, where I gained extensive knowledge in wealth management and investment planning.

Growing up in a strict military household, I learned the importance of discipline, respect, adaptability, strength, compassion, leadership, and gratitude and was taught that with hard work, I could achieve anything.  When I was 18 years old, my father was tragically killed by a drunk driver.  It was then that I knew I had to act upon the life lessons my father taught me and worked exceptionally hard to achieve an education.  I graduated from Northwestern State University after transferring from Xavier University to be closer to home.

Today, I am extremely passionate about helping families pursue their short- and long-term goals and guiding them on investments and preparing for life goals, such as saving for college and retirement.  In addition, I earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation from the College for Financial Planning.  My strong work ethic is guided by a quote from Henry David Thoreau: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.  Live the life you have imagined.”

Active in the community, I serve as a donor and judge for the Caddo Schools Amazing Shake Program, volunteer for Junior Achievement, and actively advocate for financial literacy.

My wife, Ria, and I have made Bossier City, Louisiana, our home.  I am the father of two amazing kids – my littlest, Jamison, and my biggest, Kamryn, who is now playing soccer.  We also have two dogs, a Maltipoo and an Italian Stafford.  Outside the office, I enjoy golfing, reading, cooking, traveling, and worshiping at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana.
